Seeking: Female 18 - 25
I was originally born in Rome, Italy and have lived in many places. Remarkably it's been over a decade since I moved to this surreal city of Las Vegas from Chicago. I have degrees in both philosophy and East Asian studies leaving me well equipped to contemplate unemployment. Luckily my professional career took a turn down a very different path. I have a somewhat eclectic background. I became a stockbroker out of college (my university's philosophy dept. is probably still trying to figure out that one). Then a commodity trader in Chicago before coming to Vegas where I got involved with a retail development group that owns and operates numerous retail and F&B businesses on the Las Vegas strip. With the realization that I've been focusing a bit too much on my professional life I am going to come out of dating hibernation. After all, like a good Roman I work to live and not the other way around. I like playing guitar (I guess you can call it playing), and also enjoy dabbling both in the kitchen and especially behind the bar...my caipirinha's are unforgettable unless you drink two. I also take fitness pretty seriously and do the gym thing on a regular basis (any workout partners out there?). Then like my background I've got a bunch of weird, unrelated things I can do...juggle, race motorcycles, sing karaoke (from my days in East Asian studies), magic tricks, investing, long distance target shooting, college trained Foosball champ, drawing, and periodically causing beverages to shoot out of unsuspecting people's noses. I'm a fan of all types of movies...comedy, drama, thriller, documentary, independent, and foreign. I'll admit I've always been a real sucker for Woody Allen flicks. They're like a litmus test for me. If you're a fan too then we could easily co-exist on an uninhabited dessert island...made of brownies. I meant desert. I like to have a good novel going at any given time. They provide an inexpensive vacation away from your daily life. Just read one called "The Humans" by Matt Haig (if you want a new perspective on what being human is all about) and I'm about to start "The Gold Finch" by Donna Tartt. From Descartes to Hume, I also enjoy philosophy and the dialectic that goes along with it but try to keep it to a minimum so I don't implode. Long weekends on the beach in California or trolling the city for something new in San Francisco are other pleasurable pastimes I like to employ to keep from imploding. Oh and regarding food...I love all kinds of pasta, especially tortellini. Japanese food is a close second.
