The first thing you should know is that I have a disability which makes walking very difficult, so I always need to use a walker. If you are okay with that, please keep reading. If not, I understand and good luck out there! I travel the world every winter to escape the Canadian winter! Before retiring, I had worked in six different countries outside North America. So far. My travels have taken me to 42 countries (and counting!). I have three amazing children and my oldest daughter has given me four grandchildren (all boys) in the last nine years! I am twice divorced, and on friendly terms with both ex-wives (co-parenting really helped). I love reading and writing. Before my mobility declined, I enjoyed hiking, camping, canoeing, cross-country skiing, swimming, and martial arts. Now I am a little more sedentary. I play music (guitar and harmonica) and love listening to blues, rock, classical, international ? World music) alternative; anything really (but country not so much).. I truly love the natural world. I have been an environmental activist for all my adult life. In Canada i live in a little cottage in a beautiful forest by a lake. When the snow comes, i have to leave. Friends tell me i have a great sense of humor and am a good storyteller. I love to give more than receive, in hospitality, friendship, and, well you know... ;) Life is good and adventures are ahead.
