Hello, from the islands!
I shall be hitting the big 6-0 next year and I can't wait to celebrate it! My life has been such a blessing to me, my family and majority of the people I came across with. Being single for the longest time has not been a disappointment to me. I have spent my life wisely. However, I wish I had a child to carry on my legacy. But it is too late in the day now for wishful thinking. I have been so independent that I could go shopping alone by myself or have coffee with myself. But it is never intentional most of the time. Sometimes I just need some peace and quiet after a busy and stressful week. I always look forward to hanging out with a friend or friends to go shopping, lunch, coffee or travelling. I am very close to my elderly Mom. She is 80 years old and we used to go out to have lunch, church or just hanging out in the house puttering around. But since the pandemic, outings with my Mom has been strictly limited. She only started to go out again with me late last year. I like to cook, anything that looks tasty and healthy that I see on the Food Network or online. At my age I try to stay healthy but sometimes my sweet tooth gets the better of me. :-) I am still very active and am mostly on my feet especially with my line of work.
