Love is in the small wonders
Throughout my week, I scurry underwater in the ocean under a lily pad. I love riding seahorses and munching on seaweed! Yum! I only come out on land during an eclipse to mate! Will you be the lucky one I meet during the next eclipse? Haha! JUST KIDDING! Okay, but seriously, about me... I would say that I have a hunger for truth, mastery, and purpose, but my first hunger is for God. I was very future oriented years ago, but now, I believe in more life balance. I would say that I yearn for glorious adventures with my one and only, like how they are felt in classic literature, as well as a nice relaxing night in contemplation and listening to music in my room. Admittedly in my life, I have wept some tears and been in darkness, but I don’t forget the laughs and the good people of my life who have cared about me. Life is a precious roller-coaster, I think....too precious to allow oneself to drown in a downward spiral. Along with finding peace with the sweet and sour of life, I believe in God, family, friends, and love. In 1 Corinthians 13:13, it says, “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love” (NIV). I know it is cheesy, but as I grow older, I also see the superiority of love!
