Spiritual, not Religious. Episcopal Lay Reader. Lost my spouse of over 30 years to Alzheimer's. Financially secure, but have no interest in supporting your entire family, directly or indirectly. I don't mind sharing myself with you, but I'm not your family's meal ticket. I have many interests, including playing a number of musical instruments. I've flown airplanes, scuba dived, snow and water skied, hunted, fished, designed electronic components, oil painted, have a darkroom and large format film cameras, built computers, have an Extra Class radio license, ridden and raced motorcycles, competed in firearm competitions, been a Captain in the Army, have an engineering degree and an MBA, had all the insurance and securities licenses, and am a Master Gardener. I can carry on an intelligent conversation. I am an extremely caring, loyal and loving person. I am capable of protecting myself and my loved ones. I am only interested in possibly relocating to the Philippines because I want to see other parts of our planet and the US reminds me often of what I have lost in a soulmate/partner. It's easier to move on in another environment, especially one with the beauty of the Philippines. I meet all the required qualifications to make me a rarity on dating sites. I am: NOT an alcoholic. NOT a drug addict. NOT a compulsive gambler. NOT an abuser of women, children, or animals. NOT a convicted felon. NOT in prison or on parole. NOT a pedophile or sexual predator. NOT in terrible health. I DO: Have my own place to live. Have my own transportation. Have a formal education.. Have an adequate income stream. Have my own teeth. Have minimal caretaker duties for my prior soulmate who developed Alzheimer's disease and hasn't lived at home for several years. Several years ago she made me promise her “please don’t not throw me in the trash or spend the rest your life as my caregiver and when the time is right find your next soulmate.” The time is right; she devised a test. Actually, the “time” has been right for some time, but it hasn’t been “right” for me – now it is. I’m ready. If you got this far, then congratulations! You are either curious, don’t scare off easily, or you may actually be a “spirit woman.”
