I have been using this particular site a few times, not as regular as others, but I do. The site itself is well made and it is okay, however you have to communicate by paying a fee, which is very undesirable and not everyone is able to pay, (like me), specially when there's an economic downturn which is affecting us all. I go with the flow and if anything reaches to something serious, then so be it. One thing that will never entice me into driving myself is despair or a drive to want a relationship in a hasty way. I am not like that, if there's a woman who wishes to enforce me and get into a relationship. I am sorry but that does not work for me, probably you can find someone who is ready to mingle, I just take my time and I always go with the flow, and if I am single, so be it, being single isn't too bad, the only problem is when you have people looking at you, try to break you down and say: Oh., you are single, why? Don't you want to get married and have Kids? stuff like that, I just say, ''Do not despair, it is my Life, my choice, and I can do whatever I want, and whatever choices I make in life and if they happen to give me something that is unexpected, so be it''. 2-What is your purpose here? Answer: I am here to meet people, I am not sure as to what extent this site will provide what we are looking for, but it is worth the try and see how it goes, who knows what lies beneath the layers of such website!? As I said, I just go with the flow. Life is so full of surprises and anything can happen. I am more than happy to face the unknown and see what life can bring into my life. There are occasions when you feel apprehensive, concerned with what the future will be, but live each day as it comes, that is why I am trying to do, or at least, try it. My suggestion is: Be careful with scammers, swindlers, deceivers or anyone who has second intentions to hurt you, your feelings and destroy you in and out. Do not allow anyone to get into your heart without assurance. Let them know that you are not in this world to be hurt and you are forthcoming, upfront and to the point. If she person is close to you to use you, GIVE HIM/HER A KICK IN THE BUTT, you deserve your Happiness, Love, Understanding and everything you are entitled to. 3-How is your personality/attitude like? Answer: Well, I am Cheerful, Outgoing, Genuine and crazy, what would be life without a bit of craziness? I can be anxious, obstinate and of course, moody. I can be happy, but all that depends on how the day goes, I can feel depressed, but that can happen to anyone. Life has its ups and downs. Specially, during this time when the Economy, Brexit, and the Ukrainian war is affecting every aspect of our lives here in the U.K. 4-How long have you been single? Answer: I would say that I have been single most of my life. I am not that picky, but things have not worked out well for me, and yes, I am 42 and still single, I do not have a problem being single, I just haven't been lucky in the love department. When it comes, it comes and if it doesn't, life has to move on and follow its flow. If I happen to be single, then I am not going to be depressed because of that, but if the opportunity arises, I will welcome such opportunity with open arms. There are times when negativity can bring a bad omen into a person's life, I am being realistic, I try to be positive, optimistic, that is all I can do. 5- Are you religious or do you believe in God? Answer: I am not religious, but I am not a non-believer, however there is something out there, or a force that is unexplainable. I do not go to church. I respect everyone's opinion about what they think of their religion and their attitude towards God. If they believe that God is everything to them in their eyes, who am I to judge? It is important that we believe in something, and whatever that is-I hope it makes you feel happy. I hope you can enjoy life to the fullest, where you can reach your potential, you are entitled to everything and whatever you decide, I hope it is for the best. 6-Would you date a woman with a child? Answer: Maybe/maybe not, all depends how I feel towards her. The child is not the problem, and it should never be a problem, as when you have a child, you have to prioritize such child among everything else, but as I have never been married, I would prefer a single/divorced woman. If I happen to like her/love her, I will accept whatever life throws at me, but all is down to the feeling, the love and the care. I have never been engaged with a woman with kids, so I really have no idea about such experience. It may not be for everyone's cup of tea, but we all have to give it a try and see how it goes. I know, there are times when people put a lot of effort into a relationship and after a while, someone in such relationship, calls it quits. Life is like that, you invest your time in something that you think it is worth it, and then you get disappointed, however, that is what life is, it is part of an experience that enlightens the weaknesses and strengths you have and what you can learn from them. 7- Do you want to have kids? Answer: I don't think I do. I do not have the means or stability to look after a child. I understand that a child just needs Love, comfort, and someone to look after him/her needs, unfortunately, I would not be able to do that. I am unsure. I do not have a problem with mothers who have kids. Kids mean everything to a lot of people and they certainly do, they bring happiness, joy and a lot of love, but, to have them, you need to be prepared and be there for them, always. 8-How many brothers do you have? Answer: I have 3 brothers: Victor 38, Marcelo 40, and Valter 43. I also have 2 half-brothers: William 21, Max 22 9-What work do you do? Answer: I am currently working as a Cleaning operative, working part-time hours, between 5:00 a.am to 09:00 a.m. I am looking for more employment opportunities here in Boston, but it is getting harder and harder. A lot of shops are closing down, so there are not a lot of opportunities. Boston is located in a county called Lincolnshire, 120 miles from London. It does not have a lot of public transport and opportunities can only be available if you have a Driving license. I have my provisional license, but I do not have the money to do the Theory or the practical side. I am unsure as to whether I should take driving lessons, as they are costly and at the moment, the financial situation is bad. 10-What do you do when you are not working? Answer: I watch movies, talk to a few members of my family who live with me, and I rarely go out with friends, as I do not have that many, but those I have, I keep them around and keep in touch with them. I am sociable, but I do not like to go out at night. 11-What food do you eat? Answer: I am not that fussy, I eat almost everything, except meat that has fat, I am not a fan of fat. 12-When is your birthday? Answer: I was born on the 12 of March 1981. I share the same birthday with my mother Maria, who was born on the 12 of March 1962. As you can see, I share a common thing with my mother. 13- Are you ambitious? Answer: I think I am, but I have not achieved a lot in my life. I have been given a lot of opportunities in the past and of course, I decided to waste them all, why? I was immature, I was not thinking, I was just wasting my life with insecurities and uncertainties as to what to do with my life. That certainly has affected me since that time. It has been very hard for me to get any opportunities to achieve anything, but I keep my hopes high, as you never know, today you work hard and tomorrow you might be rewarded for your hard work. 14- What are your hopes for the future? Answer: I don't know, I just live each day as it comes. It is so hard to plan or to see what the future will bring, but I am hoping that life is better, with a good job and a better pay of course. I do not think my life will change a lot, but I am hoping it does. 15- In your opinion, do you think life has given you a purpose? Answer: Yes. Life provides you with experience to enrich your purpose with meaning, that meaning will then define you as a person and as a human being. We all aim for a purpose, and whatever road or path we chose, it helps us motivate our innermost being to be in contact with the substance that made us, our true self, our psyche and the spirit within us. 16- Do you get on well with other people? Answer: I do. I do not criminalize, I do not judge others for who they are and how they represent themselves in society, I am not racist, I am not a member of any group. I respect people for who they are, I was raised to respect others and of course, I expect to be respected the same way. I do not like people who have a biased opinion on others. It is normal to have an opinion about this or that, but to have an opinion about someone that is based on the color of their skin or where they come from etc., that is immoral, that goes against the principles of what life is all about. 17- Do you love yourself? Answer: Not as much as I am supposed to. I guess that I have to look myself in the mirror and say to myself: Nuno, this is who you are, you have to like yourself, if you have an imperfection, they are part of you, they are the imperfections that mold you as a person, as a human being, try not think about how you look like, concentrate on filling your heart and soul with love, care and understanding. Others will appreciate you for who you are. Do not change for anyone, if you do have to change, change it for yourself. I do not have to change for anyone else, but I came to realize; change can be a good thing, and the only person who has the power to do that is-myself. 18-What is your height/weight? Answer: I am 216 pounds or 100kg, and my height is around 1'73/1'75 meters. 19- Do you follow fashion? Answer: I am rubbish at it, but I wear clothes that I feel comfortable with. I am not that knowledgeable. 20- Are you feeling hopeful in finding your soul mate here? Answer: To be honest, I do not expect to find it here, but as they say: If you do not try, you will never know whether your luck knocks on your door. If I haven't found today, doesn't mean it doesn't come tomorrow. You have to work hard for what you want to have in your life. That is what I think. If I haven't given the effort, well, that is my fault, but I cannot be 24/7 on a website, trying to find love or my soul mate, that comes with time. I am not rushing about; I just go with the flow. You can say that, sure, I am laidback, but for those things, you have to be, no point in putting pressure on a person who might not be the right soul mate. It is better to be safe than sorry, you know. I am not here to waste anyone's time, that is why I decided to be very upfront and to the point. I do not know what the future brings, but one thing I know is that I am hopeful, Hope is the best thing to have around. There are times when I think hope has died for me.
