Well, here's me. 57, single dad to my beautiful son. Heart battered a bit by life not turning out how I'd hoped, but bold enough to know that nothing changes until you take the first steps to change it. I became a father later in life but love it! I'm quite an outdoors person and love to travel and experience new cultures. I've travelled and worked internationally as part of my career but now my travels are for leisure and expanding my understanding of the world. I love the buzz of a big city, but I'm probably most happy surrounded by nature or close to the sea. When I can see the incredible design of God - I know there is a creator. Family is very important to me and I'm sure it's important to you too. I am open to the idea of blending your family to mine - but probably if you have just the one child rather than 2 or 3. I have a good sense of humour and like nothing more than chatting away about the world and looking out of the window daydreaming of better times to come. As the saying goes, it will be alright in the end, and if not's yet alright, it's not yet the end! Age wise, I thank my mother for the good genes, so I'm lucky to look younger, and I know that age gaps can work ok if the match is good, but any more than 20 years or so and I'll look more like your dad than your man! So if you are in your early mid 20's, thank you very much for reading this far, but please don't throw your youth and beauty to a much older guy - you can do better than me! God has a plan for all our lives and He is a God of second chances, so if you've been hurt before let Him lead you. I'm not looking for a girlfriend, though all relationships start with friendship and that means talking. I'm looking for someone to share the rest of my life with. Our lives now may be very different but it's our values that define who we are. Compatibility comes from being at the same place in our journey and wanting the same outcomes from life - not because we like the same food or music - though I'm open minded on that :-)

I live in Paignton, Devon, UK., just off the seafront. I also spend time at my family home near London. Sadly no family left now just me. I have retired now selling the holiday accommodation business.I have a short beard but it not important to me, if you like a clean shaved man I'm happy to shave it off. I love home life and gardening. Enjoy church on Sunday (if I have someone to go with.) Enjoy tai chi, zumba and yoga. I'm not great at that but I love it. I became a born again Christian 30 years ago, sadly I've not attended church in recent years but my faith is always with me...I'd love to visit the Holy Land (walk in the foot steps of Jesus) but have no one to accompany me.. I'm a sensitive but easy going person looking for the simple way of life.. I like to adapt to new situations and learn new things. I enjoy lots of activities and have a few friends around England that I try to visit when I can. Have wanted to travel but work didn't allow it much before I retired, so maybe buy a camper wagon and tour the UK? or travel route 66 in the US? I Could compile a bucket list of things to do but must be what you would like to do as well. With all this adventure talk I'd love to relax at home and just enjoy being with the woman I love, just plan what to do next. I would hope she would be willing to teach me about life in Philippines as I can about life here in West. It's a lot to ask someone to relocate from Philippines to UK, but it wouldn't be a problem for us to come back for you to keep in touch with family, or family to come come here to visit in UK. Your happiness is my happiness...
