I wrote that tagline because I used to be a singer. I sang Elvis Presley songs and all my close friends call me Elvis lol. I still sing sometimes, but only on special occasions. Ok, well I have a great sense of humour, I really get a kick out of seeing people laugh. Not the odd chuckle, but laughing so much it actually takes your breath away and you are thinking to yourself, "I really need to take a breath soon". Too many people seem to be carrying the "Serious Gene" nowadays, and its a shame. If I cant make you laugh, nothing will. I am big on manners. I believe it's never too hard to say "please or thank you". I am constantly amused by the looks I get when I open the car door for a lady. Seems it is a dying gesture. I am also big on showing respect to those I meet. Right up to the point where you no longer deserve it. I guess I get that from being a soldier for most of my life. Having left the Army a few years ago now, I am very happy work wise as I work for myself. My personal life does not consist of any baggage at all. I guess I am one of the few people out there that can say that, having met a few people on here that still hold onto theirs. I don't discuss ex partners or aspects of past relationships. I'm sure there are other subject I can talk about that will hold your attention. When I'm not working I love going to the movies. I'm a huge movie buff and also a bit of a movie critic tragic. Going to the movies is a great way to forget about everyday life if only for a couple of hours. I am also a seeker of knowledge. I love reading books and I have my face stuck in at least 2 or 3 at a time. I am the sort of person who really enjoys picking a particular subject and then finding out as much as I can about it. As for my taste in music, and this is where I lose a lot of people, I do not listen to the music of today. I have tried to get into it, but at the end of the day, I just can't listen to it as it all sounds the same. As someone who used to sing in a band (hence the nickname Elvis) with real people and real instruments, it's hard to listen to noise created by a computer. I try to keep fit by going to the gm, but I am by no means a gym junkie. I love a game of squash, however I just can't seem to find someone to partner up with for a match. So if you do play, hit me up for a game. I'm not the sort of guy who will sit in front of the tv and watch hours of sport with a beer in my hand. Now, I am not here to exchange emails and IM messages over and over. This is a dating site which would imply that at some stage, we will have to meet. If you don't want to, that's cool, just let me know and we can both move on. I am not going to abuse anyone because they don't want to chat. I am on this site to meet someone special.
